Leo's life had been going great. Better than usual, at least.
He has a loving boyfriend that he's been crushing on for a year, and amazing friends that like to get on his nerves, but still take his say in things. And he loves spending time with his brothers and has even felt more talkative nowadays.But with one part of his family, his brothers, in the overworld, and the other parts, his friends, his boyfriend, his adoptive daughter- And, apparently, biological family- in the underworld. Leo quickly realizes that he will have to tell his brothers what has been happening.
But what happens when he does? Will he have to choose? Who will he choose? How will he know when he's ready to tell him? Will he ever be ready to tell them?
Or will another force make that decision for him?

What if instead of Leo, Donatello was the very last mutant alive? What if he was thrown fourteen years into the past to fix Leonardo's mistake? To stop the seemingly inevitable apocalypse?
Even worse, what if they only had three days to find the Key that unleashes the Krang? The same key that Dee had been trying to find for fourteen years, even trying to find its previous location before the invasion of the Krang and their ship proved futile.
What if, through these attempts at saving the world, he realizes that his world isn't a planet, it isn't the Earth. It's a person. The person who he could've been, the one he needs to protect. So that Donnie can have the opportunity to be the things that Dee feels it's too late for himself to be.

Leo felt an arm—no, two arms—or is it four? Maybe it's six, or... It was something, he guessed. The world felt too far away, too out of touch, too off balance for his liking. He felt himself drown in a void of some sort. An unfamilliar, unlikable void though. His legs drained of the little energy it had left and he was now fully collapse to the ground.
Donnie felt his hand moving towards his cheek. He felt an unfamilliar wetness scaling down his face, and the more he touched it, the more he hated it. He felt his surroundings slightly shake. Looking around the gloomy rooftop, he saw no one. No disturbances in sight, how swell. He kind of wished there was someone here to comfort him into their embrace. Someone to hold him. It felt far away, nonetheless.
Raph was also about to break down. He usually showed his emotions and sensetivity with his anger and rudeness, crude language and unexplainable (actually, explainable) body language. He wasn't very swift at controlling his emotions as he was at swifting his way during fights to avoid enemy attacks. Emotions were a touchy subject.

The brothers fuck up and Mikey goes big sad.
