It wasn't that she hadn't noticed Albus' favoritism. It wasn't that she didn't care about her students. She was just so used to how things were when she first got here, when no one would listen to her concerns, that she had become used to it. She hadn't done anything after her first few attempts had been reversed. This blatant disregard for her students, however, was the final straw. She would no longer wait on the side lines, listening to Albus. She would do what she must to ensure her students made it out of Hogwarts. Safe.

This started realizing just how much would change if Draco was not an idiot and treated Harry as a brother. However, I have also made Victorian England a reality as honor, etiquette, and rank really matter. This is a Victorian boarding school, so physical pain is a very common punishment and because wizards are much more durable, will not be gentle. Remember how quickly people heal in this world before judging. Also sex happens and is legal at 14 if betrothed. Less legal if casual. No pedophilia, Snape sleeps with 18 year old students only. I wanted to make this a mature story with mature themes. Eventually, the bad guys will be really bad...as in torment, rape, and murder. However, I'm trying to minimize anyone else being stupid (having trouble with Ron, will work on it.)

This fic is a Power Struggle, rebellion mixed with spicy romance and lots of steamy scenarios.

Spoiler warning! I do reviews/summaries of events in the original books, so if you haven’t read them all, I highly recommend them.
I used the Underage warning label, because there is an implication that Ginny and Harry make love, about a month and a half before her 18th birthday. That's in the last chapters, after graduation. In the wizarding world, she's legal. In our world, not quite, and those are the rules for this site. There are implications that a few characters are having sex, and that's all it is, implied. Nothing graphic, although there is a bit of suggested nudity.
I have chapters in the middle that are incomplete or underworked. I welcome comments and questions. Tell me what you like, and what you don't, and what you disagree with, where I may veer from canon. If it just isn't your cup of tea, you can keep that to yourself, please.

Long fanfic based on MsKingBean89's ATYD fanfiction of Harry Potter, and partially on Rollercoasterwords' ATYD Sirius' Perspective. (If you haven't read either, read them!!) It's an ATYD fanfic first! This charts the Valkyrie's(mainly Lily, Mary, and Marlene) time at Hogwarts (and beyond) from Lily's PoV. Basically me just rewriting it because I find Lily such an interesting character that I think could be explored more. I'll be making a second one after this from James' perspective because I love pain!

Draco Malfoy, pureblood and heir to two Noble and Ancient Houses within the Sacred 28, finds himself in a secret friendship with a muggle born witch.
