Summary
A long long time ago centuries before that very faithful day humans lived and monster called yōkai roamed. Where they both lived and shared the beautiful Blue skies as home. Soon this peace of theirs came undone war was waged. Soon the Hamatos were born, rose to the top, and had won. Forced to hide, yokai soon disappeared, they had hid themselves away with a spell. Know out of sight and fearful they do what they can to regrow their community with what they have been left to scavenge from. Now Hamatos wait for the return of the yokais, and humans are safe and oblivious to the dangers as they have always been.

Summary
There's a lot of mysteries surrounding Leo's life, and while he still lacked answers for some of them he gave up on pursuing them a while ago.
At least until a night out with his best friend April results in a rescue mission into the Hidden City. And upon stumbling into the lab where he and his father were mutated, he discovers he apparently has three siblings when his father only ever mentioned one.
Now motivated by this discovery–and some incredible magic weapons–Leo and April are determined to track these siblings down and reconnect with them.
Unfortunately, they're all pretty comfy staying where they are, and where they are is on the side of the guys who basically want to destroy the world.
And Leonardo may have to decide if he wants to save his siblings, or save the world.

How any of them ended up in this whole situation was a mystery. Regardless of how it came to be (and regardless of how much of this ordeal was Draxum's fault), they now had a bundle of baby mutant turtles under their responsibility. Such a thing can only be so easy when stuck co-parenting with someone you barely know but have every reason to hate just the same

Mikey's father tells him he can't talk about how the League of Evil Mutants was disbanded to his siblings- how one of the members took advantage of Mikey's naivety and smashed his innocence to dust. Even though they're older than him. Even though Dad says he doesn't think that Mikey's dirty. Even though Mikey has nobody else to talk to. It feels like he's being ground into nothingness, like he deserves this pain.
Eventually, the truth bubbles out of Mikey's mouth. His dirty, inappropriate, broken little mouth. He couldn't keep his horrible secret for too long, after all- his siblings were worried. He wishes they weren't.
