However, when Nick begins hanging around Julie more than usual, it seems like Luke may never get a real chance. Outside the venue of Sunset Curve’s biggest gig yet, Luke was pacing. He didn’t usually pace, which was why Bobby had sent Reggie out to keep an eye on the other guitarist.
Reggie picked at one of the fake roses a fan had thrown onstage for them—which was super sweet, if not out of place at a punk gig—trying to keep himself from grabbing Luke’s shoulders to make him stop pacing. “What’s got you so worked up, dude? We just had an amazing show, the crowd was loving us and we hit our harmonies!”
“I- Ugh, it’s stupid,” Luke groaned, turning on his heel. “I’m just like… restless, and I need to-” He made a grabbing motion with his hands as if that explained anything about his mood.
Then, suddenly, Luke was kissing Reggie.
