He didn’t feel like he was leaving anything behind he would miss as he started a new life in Muckingham. But what is he going to do when he’s there? He has a little money saved, but that won’t take him far.

He was far underage when he started drinking - though he supposed that’s what made it so cool to do in the first place. He was just as young when he started smoking - and would continue the addiction well into his adult life. He was hardly an adult when he got into a relationship with someone practically twice his age - and was abused worse than when he was a child. He went through so much pain and fear to be one of the cool kids, just for the love that popularity would bring him.

Connor met Nines during the events leading to the android revolution. They saw each other at the CyberLife facility everytime his memories were uploaded to a new body when he died while investigating the Deviant case with Hank.
Despite the fact that Nines was made to replace Connor eventually, the two androids became close and Connor quickly developped feelings for him. He tried to hide it from Amanda so CyberLife wouldn't know he was compromised, but his newlyfound feelings and consciousness led him to choices that went against his mission order, and she eventually found out.

After the revolution, Connor tried to distance himself from his old life. He got a job as a pole dancer, moved in with his boyfriend- an RK900 model named Milo, affectionately called Nines by his work partner Gavin Reed- and forgot about all he knew before. Then CyberLife, in an attempt to save face, began reactivating all androids they could find that were damaged or destroyed during the revolution. Connor didn't think much of it, but it would change his life forever.
Daniel didn't know what was so familiar about the eyes of the dancer on stage that night, but he was fascinated with him. Night after night, he watched, wondering if this dancer was the key to remembering who or what he was before. And maybe he would learn what the emotion he felt was called. So he watched, he followed, he learned all he could. This dancer was the key to everything, he was certain.
One longed to remember, the other to forget, but neither would get the luxury.
