As far as Jim was concerned, things were going well! Well, they were until Merlin showed up and started lecturing him on messing with time when he was trying to talk to Claire who was clueless about trolls or anything else.
Jim really didn't want Toby or anyone to find out about the future, it wouldn't happen so they don't need to carry that burden besides him. Not that they would remember. Right? Wrong.
Things certainly didn't improve when Jim realizes he is slowly turning back into a troll!
What will his friends do when they remember the future?

The 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors while the citizens of Panem are required to watch. When 16-year-old Krel's older sister, Aja, is selected as District 11's female representative, worrying she'll die, Krel volunteers to take the male representative.

Later in his first day back in a very much not-destroyed Arcadia he bumps into his girlfriend before the reset and finds a very familiar amulet in her possession. Not just that, but the Arcane Order appears to be much more than they are. They maybe just as alien as they are ancient. A new threat is coming. The stakes are higher as the world Jim holds on his shoulder's grows bigger than ever as he threatens all the worlds.
