Or, he does know how it happened, but then he doesn’t really, because one moment he was leaning against the windowsill listening to Finny say I believe you, and the next, he was pressing his mouth to Finny’s and feeling him jolt away, underneath him, jolt back into the soft yield of the Infirmary mattress and away from Gene and his stupidity.

I was unsatisfied when I read A Separate Peace for school because I felt that there was so much chemistry between Gene and Finny and I felt so much could be done with the characters but since it was written in the 1940s they couldn't be together. It was so tragic and I just had to search for fanfiction. But, yet another roadblock. There's hardly any fan content! So, I took matters into my own hands. I've been working on this fanfiction for quite a while, but I have no idea how frequent the updates will end up being... Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy!

She smiled back and shook his hand, “Nice to meet you Travis… Don’t worry. High school isn’t all bad. At least for me it isn’t.”
“R-really?” He asked, looking at her with a tired look.
“Yeah, if you want I can introduce you to my friends,” She offered, “What lunch do you have?” She added.
“U-uhh, I think second.” He answered.
Aphmau’s smile got bigger, “Great, I’ll come find you during lunch, ok?”
Travis looked relieved, “T-thank you…” He whispered.
