He breaths heavily out of his nose and notches another arrow. As he’s drawing back, Neteyam steps behind him, he grabs both of wrists.
Lo’ak freezes. “Your elbow needs to be higher,” Neteyam murmurs directly in his ear. His hand slides slowly down Lo’aks arm to his elbow, using the tips of his fingers to push it an inch higher.
“And,” Neteyam adds “When you’re aiming, aim for a small spot on the tree, the smaller it is the more accurate your aim will be.”
Neteyam slides his hand to Lo’aks aiming hand, and places it over top, guiding it gently.

"Ma Jake, take it easy" Neytiri stood up "Son, why are you coming back so late, we've agreed on something"
"I know mom, I'm sorry I... I've lost track of time," he mumbled an apology
" Eclipse. This is the time you were supposed to be back, isn't it," Jake growled through clenched teeth, "answer me, yes or no!"
"Yes, I was supposed to come back then"
"So stick to that rule, because I swear I'll tie a knot on your tail when it happens again. Do you copy?"
"Lima Charlie, I'm sorry"

Lo'ak is mourning the death of his brother in a not very healthy way, and the tense atmosphere, between his family members certainly doesn't make it easy for him to return to normal. And it was not going to be any better soon especially with how things were between him and Jake.
Despite the fact that Jake said that he 'sees' Lo'ak, he doesn't behave that way.

He'd fucked up before, but never as bad as now. "Dad-" Lo'ak choked out, resisting the urge to wipe the blood from his lip. "Dad, they called me a demon. They think I am a curse."

“I saved him.” his voice is strained, and cracks at the last syllable.
“What?” and the way Lo’ak looks at him, his eyes are dead, voice empty, he repeats himself, “What did you just say?”
“I saved him– Quaritch, I saved him” The swords seep from his lips like poison, Spider prepares himself for the worst, any reaction is one he would accept, he expects screaming anything. And when Lo'ak's big hands gripped his arms so hard his bones ached, Spider momentarily believed that this was the end of him, that this was his punishment for saving that monster.
"We're not going to tell anyone about this, Spider. Do you hear me? No one can know. Not Kiri, not anyone."
Shock and disbelief hit Spider hard and for a moment all he could do was look at Lo'ak. Lo’ak had his eyes wide open full of something he can’t begin to understand— as though he wasn’t in his right mind, which was much scarier.
"Lo'ak, what are you saying?"
"Never repeat those words ever again, this dies here with us Spider." He says those words with a determination that makes his heart leap out of his chest. Lo’ak wanted him to lie, about this?
