The creaking noise of the bedroom door sends tingles down his spine.
He hears the door close, hears him walk over the carpet, stepping closer. Feels him watching. Aaron feels him all the time, whether they’re hundreds of miles apart or standing right there in front of him, watching him with curious eyes.
Aaron’s chin tilts upwards as he uncovers his face, finding himself staring back at him.
“You’re home early” Andrew says.
Andrew Minyard is possessive, he's protective, and he wants his brother to be happy.
Aaron Minyard is a virgin, he's shy, and he wants his brother.

Except for the way that Neil’s voice had changed as Nicky had prodded him about it. And it wasn’t about saying those words. Not really. Andrew knew Neil better than that.
It was about the leash that was Andrew.
Andrew leashing Neil.
Neil, his tone so bitter it probably hurt to speak, saying he was fine with being nothing. With wanting Andrew and getting the meagre morsels Andrew was willing to provide. Andrew, knowing he might never be able to force those stupid three words out of his mouth, Andrew, knowing he was broken and abrasive and closed off, Andrew, refusing to give something a name lest the name hurt him ---- still holding tight on to Neil. Keeping Neil from another piece of normalcy that Neil had been struggling to find his entire life.
Andrew overhears a conversation, makes up his mind about it, and then proceeds to be miserable for a couple of months.
