When Caitlyn starts working with Vi who has migrated from Zaun, they immediately clash based on their own personal differences. But, upon working together for Senator Mel's mayoral campaign they start getting closer. When a certain incident brings forth many different crimes present, Caitlyn and Vi sought to deliver the truth to the public. What follows is a professional relationship that develops into a romance between Caitlyn and Vi, two people who have lived strikingly different lives. But, perhaps their passion for news writing can be the thing that leads to love.
“Good morning Caitlyn, this is our new manager, Vi”, Jayce told her.
Caitlyn found herself frozen in place by the grey eyes of the handsome new employee.
Vi simply held out her hand and said “Nice to meet you Miss Kiramman. I look forward to working with you”.
Caitlyn flustered and suddenly hot stumbled over her words. “Yes, ummm great to see you, I mean likewise”.She nervously tucked her hair behind her ear, all the while aware that her cheeks were on fire.

I know a lot of people don’t bother reading notes and warnings but before reading this story, please DO. Firstly cause I’m really lame with summaries, and secondly cause the different notes will give you more indication about what this story will really be about. Jinx was supposed to die on the bridge, to at least be able to make that decision for herself, without someone trying to fit her broken mind into another box. She was wrong.
Vi had expected to never see her sister again, to carry the burden of destroying everything she touches, especially those she loves, for as long as she lives. She was wrong.
Caitlyn was dreading having to live out her days in a gilded cage, smothered by responsibility that she didn't ask for, and never being freed to spread her wings. She was wrong
A retelling of events in the series from the point of the bridge explosion, except if Vi did go back to Jinx and her and Caitlyn brought her back to Piltover to get healed. Also, it is shamelessly self indulgent for my love of these three, so slow burn romance between the three of them that is emotional, volatile, and passionate to the point that both Piltover and the Lanes may have a new set worry on their hands. Plot is there in spades, but mostly centered around the central budding romance between the three.

Vi has always stood for violence, anyway. There are few people in the world, only two of them, to whom Vi stands for a different name. And Caitlyn is the first on the list.

After the fall of her pack when Vi's entire family was killed, and she is cursed forcing her to shift remaining in her wolf form permanently. Vi's then sold into an underground dog fighting ring. For 5 years Vi is forced to fight and win matches to survive. The longer she remains in wolf form the more her humanity slips allowing her primal side to take over. At least until the day the fighting ring was busted.
Caitlyn is a slayer working for the wardens a branch of the enforcers headed by Greyson dealing with supernatural crimes. Her current assignment: tracking down an illegal dog fighting ring run by a coven of mages. When Caitlyn first sees wolf 516 she sees a terrified animal in survival mode. When the mages are cut off from their magic and the other wolves are able to shift back 516 does not. It intrigues Caitlyn, something about the eyes of the red dog in front of her causes Caitlyn to question things and decides to adopt the dog. Once in Caitlyn's care, Vi slowly learns to trust. Caitlyn can tell there is a greater mystery afoot surrounding her four-legged companion and she has to work quickly to figure it out before the shadows of Vis past catches up to them both.
