Dean Winchester, a hunter with his brother Sam was saved by an angel named Castiel. At first, he didn't like him but as time went by he fell in love with him. He was never able to propose to him even after Castiel had confessed to him after dying. When Dean died in the barn, he never thought about getting a second chance and this time being a "hero" called Soldier Boy.
Castiel and Dean meet again as Soldier Boy and Billy, who begin a relationship and then get married secretly behind the backs of "The Boys". Castiel and Soldier Boy had a son they named Jack and kept him a secret until The Deep brought him to light.

Hughie Campbell had it hard from childhood and it never really improved and even when it did, it didn’t stay that way. After the gruesome death of his mother, Hughie’s classification as a regressor/little revealed itself prematurely. His father did the best he could and Robin picked up the slack- until she was redacted by A-Train.
Enter: The Boys- a team led by Billy Butcher dedicated to taking down supes that don’t care about the lives they ruin with collateral damage or outright intentionally harming for their own amusement. Butcher scouts Hughie after Robin’s death, but has no idea that he’s put regressor in perpetual danger until Frenchie (The Frenchman/Serge) catches Hughie slipping.
