Summary
The sirens became louder as the cars approached, nothing but the moon and a buzzing streetlamp lit up the parking lot alley where she stood. Phone in hand, her body was in the same stiff position it had been in when she called the cops. The brisk air was stinging her skin, but she didn’t care to move. She couldn’t feel anything, not with the body of her coworker in front of her feet.
Rey is a stripper who happened upon her coworker's dead body, a vision that left her with terrorizing nightmares. An unknown serial killer is on the loose and from the fear of losing more women, Agent Solo insists on protection for all dancers. When another dancer is killed in her own home, all women are assigned a 24-hour bodyguard to watch them at all times. Agent Solo happens to be Rey's bodyguard and notices she has been having a rough time sleeping, so he offers assistance.

Dazai smiled, ready for the big reveal. "Ah yes, of course! The most important part. It is a pair project."
Deafening silence followed the statement. Dazai couldn’t stay still, swinging his leg from the bed, trying to contain his laugh. Chuuya seemed to have short-circuited at that. He waited for the inevitable question.
"Who am I paired with?" a low, stern voice brought Dazai back from his thoughts.
"Me, of course," the boy grinned.
"Yeah, no." The call ended abruptly.or: Dazai ropes Chuuya into being assignment partners. Insomnia coping, mutual deals and a lot of academic talk ensue.

He collected a few more purses as he moved through the crowd, tucking them under his robe as the bard sang song after song and the patrons grew drunker and drunker. It was as he was grabbing his last bag of the night that he happened to have up and see the bard staring directly at him. He was still mid chorus, the crowd singing rambunctiously along with him, but there was a gleam in his eyes that told Grian that he knew exactly what he was doing.
Grian met his gaze defiantly, pocketing the pouch while not breaking eye contact. He wasn't scared of some random bard in a tavern, and he wasn't going to show any fear. So he caught him stealing, what was he going to do about it? End his song early and call him out? He still hadn’t gotten paid more than a few small coins for his songs. The grin on the bard’s face grew ever so slightly as they locked eyes, and there was a newly animated air to his movements as he pushed forward into the next verse of his song.

rui was resting on tsukasa’s bed, and tsukasa had no reaction to it at all.
he nearly jumps out of his skin when an arm hooks around his back and pulls him closer, much closer, so much so that he now feels tsukasa’s slow heartbeat against his own.
without any warning, since it was pretty clear as to what's about to come, tsukasa leans down in what feels like slow motion and presses his head softly against the other's, locking him in the embrace. this is so unlike him, rui thinks but doesn’t move, the flutter in his stomach feeling as though it is almost painful at how powerful it was. he thinks it's the strangest tsukasa has ever been.
