His partners who usually join him on quests, are in the same boat with their frontliner down. Times are tough but Patton has come across a book that might help. His draconic is rusty, maybe that word means "chickens?" This word might mean "south?" Logan is hesitant and Roman is feigning confidence, but if it means getting new strength and being able to keep a roof over their head, Virgil will try anything.

Summary
One of the blessed things about slow days is it gives Roman’s mind time to wander. There are no pressures of things he must do, no work that desperately needs to get completed, just lazy afternoons where he can let his brain spin. Days just like this, where Logan is working idly at something at the desk, Janus is napping on the bed next to him, and Roman is free to stare up at the ceiling. Surrounded by those he loves, nothing to keep him grounded when his mind holds something far more alluring…so he allows himself to drift away.
Of course, one of the cursed things about slow days is it gives Roman’s mind time to wander.

The sides monthly movie night was going to take place today, and Roman wasn’t looking forward to it as much as you might expect. It had been called off for a while following the events of the wedding and Roman had missed it, but he knew Janus was going to be there this time. Roman was dreading finding out the movie he would pick, and what comments would be jabbed towards his movie, The Greatest Showman.
Upon realizing that Roman and Janus have both picked musicals, they make a bet that leads to them both reconciling and the blossoming of a beautiful and incredibly sassy friendship.
