Logan was hesitant to even call this the "apocalypse." The world hadn't ended, and the six of them were very much alive. Society as they all knew it, however, had ended. This was an infection that had been the trigger for the collapse of their governments and the rise of pure anarchy. With most of humanity either dead, infected, or out of communication. This was not the end of the world, rather destruction on a catastrophic scale. For that reason, he could agree that this was an apocalypse.
"I know the boys can be frustrating, Logan, but they need us. They wouldn't kill us. I hope."
Patton knew deep down that the boys wouldn't kill them. They were too vulnerable, only being between the ages of thirteen and sixteen. He knew he was in over his head trying to take in four teenagers in these circumstances. What else was he supposed to do? He wasn't about to leave them to fight every moment of their lives. Besides, having so many people around brought familiarity to this entirely unfamiliar world. They needed him.
Patton offered a supportive smile to Logan. He needed him too.Series

Henrik considers himself to be a straightforward person. Even though he was just a byproduct of a YouTuber's imagination, he takes his job very seriously. He goes to the local hospital every night and cares for said YouTuber, and even though he knows deep down he isn't doing anything, he still feels like he needs to help in some way.

To be honest gang, I don't remember all the ships I did so I will add as I reupload. anyways, i was like twelve when most of these were written and going through it so there are a lot of fics with bad themes and not so great mental health moments. Of course, i have written fluffy cutesy stuff too! but I cannot stress enough that you heed the warnings of each chapter, as some were written in very harsh and bad times and I do not want to trigger anyone.

Virgil is a borrower, which means that he already has plenty of work to do in his day to day life. He could wish for a lot of things to make life easier: better heating, a less clumsy human neighbor, another borrower living nearby to talk to.
He distinctly didn’t wish for the human that lives next to his walls to get horribly sick and refuse to tell anyone, but it happened anyways.
Virgil is the only one around who could possibly help. And really, what are the odds that a deeply-feverish human will remember him?
