Summary
Everything should have been fine. He should have been happy. They should have left him alone. Instead Tommy’s banging on the bars to his cell, unable to escape. His flock is alone now, and he’s on deaths row. Except the heroes don’t kill him, they spare his life and force the great Villain to go to therapy. Secrets are revealed and skeletons are let out of closets.
Meanwhile the story of the missing child Icarus Vigor is told, a kid who was just trying his best yet flew to close to the sun. There are some things better left forgotten, but the story of Icarus should never be one of them. And perhaps the murder of the Vigors isn’t as mysterious as it seemed.

Tommy is a regular human, if you count having healing powers as regular. He doesn't want to get involved in all the hero/villain shit, and he hasn't for the past 7 years, successfully flying under the radar, however that all changes when he witnesses a gruesome fight. As a result of this fight, he is forced to make a difficult choice: to stay out of it or help the most dangerous villains in the city.

Tommy had switched sides, he used to be "the bitchy number two's friend", he was always overlooked, seeing as a lot people saw him as, just "a child", he was 14 - 15, but.. that didn't mean they could treat him poorly, and one fight with Tubbo made him snap, and switch sides.

"well, I must finish my speech, go ahead and play toms." dream whispered, turning to the crowd.

He quickly paid for his muffin before rushing out of the bakery to his apartment. Nobody needed to know.
OR Tommy is the ex-number 3 hero who everyone thinks is dead. A few months later he meets Ranboo and Tubbo and quickly becomes friends with them. A year later he's agreeing to become a Vigilante with the two, completing the bench trio (Their name might or might not have something to do with the fact that their first sighting together was of them stealing a bench, said bench might of then been launched across a street to stop a kidnapping.....)
OR OR Author read one too many Vigilante stories, became obsessed with them so decided to write their own. But the characters actually have more then one collective braincell.

In other words what you'd know as Villains or Heroes.In the capital city of l'manburg they were a very well-known group of super villains, they were known as the ACES.
But to bring back harmony stood against them the Dream Team.
Them and 404 apparently. No one knew anything of him, yet he knew everything about the Dream Team. How? No one knew. Maybe because they were all friends since high school, ah, or was it the fact he single handedly build all of their scientifically-prodigious costumes, oh not to mention he was married to one. Those were probably the reasons yeah.
OR, in this fic dnf are married and both heroes but Dream (or anyone really) doesn't know his hubby is also one.
George is a genius and a scientist.
