I don't know how to write summaries, but I'll do my best to give you an idea of what this fic is about. It started with this idea: What would happen in the canon universe if Sherlock were a woman? What would change? What would stay the same?
This fic is the story of that idea put into words. Much of it is a dramatic retelling of A Scandal in Belgravia, with a couple of changes and additions.

Secret Marriage/Actor AU
Sherlock Homes and John Watson have been in a relationship for ten years privately, and married for six. The only people on this earth who know about it are Greg Lestrade their manager, Irene Adler the high-powered lawyer and Sherlock's fake spouse, Doctor Molly Hooper John's fake girlfriend, and the Homes Family.
During John's press tour for his latest movie titled "Boys and Gods" which covered the AIDS epidemic and queer scene in 80's London, questions start to be raised about the nature of John's true identity and fans start digging into the past. Doing so they unearth the private skeletons in Sherlock's closet as well, the ghost of Victor Trevor, and his brief stint as Consulting Detective Sherlock Holmes.
With their pasts unearthed, people peer more and more closely at the supposedly platonic relationship that Sherlock and John have, and their tapestry of lies slowly starts to unravel.

What about combining Pride and Prejudice with the story of Sherlock Holmes and John Watson?
The action of this short story (or is it already a mini-novel?) takes place before the adventures described by Arthur Conan Doyle begin, before Holmes and Watson took up residence in Baker Street. It is set in more or less Victorian times, that is, I have tried to include the realities of the era described, drawing on relevant sources. The text is loosely inspired by Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' - enough so that you will recognise the characters and plots without hesitation, but they are merely a reference point for my own stories. It is undoubtedly a romance and as such is governed by its own rules, but in keeping with the spirit of the Holmes stories, films and series, it also contains mysteries (some even criminal). I hope you will have fun finding their solutions to the characters.
