Summary
Being named after the stars was a common thing, people see their beauty and their magnificence, and they want it for their own. Stars hold a sense of wonder, of power, of time and space and everything in-between. They have an innocence to them, a feeling of safety, of a higher being looking down on the world, glistening from the galaxies.
Stella was named after these stars, but not for any of the above reasons. Her name was chosen because stars were made up of fire, they burned brightly- just as she did. She had spent her whole life being Nick Fury's super-powered child assassin, it was all she knew and the main lesson he had taught her was to kill or be killed. She was his brightest star, his favorite killing machine- but everybody knows stars shine their brightest when they are about to burn out.
When SHIELD falls, and she is suddenly at risk of being exposed, Fury sends her to his other heroes, the Avengers, and Stella learns there's a whole lot more to life than Nick Fury had ever taught her.
Or, Tony Stark has a problem not adopting troubled and parentless children, especially ones that shine brightly once he enters a room.

Harry is unimpressed to find the group of superheroes living in his house and even more annoyed when he meets Peter Parker. Finding out he's being transferred to Midtown High when he doesn't even know how to divide is just the cherry on top. Follow Harry as he unintentionally gives everyone grey hairs and headaches.

He’d be Peter Benjamin Parker Stark. A frisson of excitement zipped up his spine. At the same time, a twinge of sadness made itself at home in his chest. The adoption would make Tony and Pepper his official forever family. At the same time, the connotation of the proceeding wasn’t lost on him. It was a vivid reminder of his first family, all of whom were laid to rest: his mother, his father, his aunt and uncle. His eyes watered without his permission; a bizarre combination of elation and grief.

Looking back, it made perfect sense.
There were little discrepancies scattered throughout the timeline of Tony's life: a house that he doesn't remember buying, an empty room that he'd set aside but no longer knew what for, months of missing data in Jarvis's database.
None of it made sense. Perhaps, it was the drugs?
(He ignored the fact that, for 5 years, he wasn't in any magazines. No front page with his arms wrapped around models; no stories of his escapades. Nothing.)
