All this is, is me, re-writing the show, scrubbing through everything and sliding my oc in who has spider powers because I'm cringe and free-
The concept is fun. What if J.J. Jameson had a second son with spider powers!
It's going under the understanding and assumption you've watched the show and know what happens. The Romance with Flash and Rodey happens later on in more like end of season 1 at episode 13 and season 2. I'm, scrubbing through the show, replaying parts to write the dialogue down to make it accurate as I can.
Things will be changed later on but all plot points will stay relatively the same, however the Perspective is in Rodeys corner.

Mr. Stark was wrong, and Peter wasn’t just going to stand by while innocent people got hurt. So, yes, he fought with the man, and yes, he was "on the outs" with him and had been banned from every Stark Industries building.
Every field trip the Acadec team has gone on has ended in disaster, injury and almost-death. They are not happy.
Sadly, his teachers don't believe him or any other Academic Decathlon team member. It's up to them now to get themselves banned from field trips forever, and hopefully, in the process, say 'fuck you' on behalf of the normal, everyday people to the world's most famous superhero.
