Summary

An alteration of events, but definitely before Blue Moon; Anita Blake has taken a break from Jean-Claude and Richard. Richard because he ate Marcus and Jean-Claude because she slept with him. For the past three months she has been focusing on work, drowning herself in it while distancing herself from anything police related and then some.
At the same time, the west coast has been destroyed, an unknown vampiric menace is following through with Mr. Oliver's plans and then some, destroying all within their path.
This is my first Anita Blake fanfiction and I made it for a friend; I'm open for constructive criticism as I am always trying to improve my writing. If there are any trigger warnings, they will always be before the chapter in the notes. I will update my tags as the story continues.
