The events of this story take place around the end of what would be S9 of the Gen4 series. Everyone is a human. All of the names of places are still pony-fied. Unicorns have magic (no horn), pegasi still have wings, and alicorns have both! (Fight scenes will not be long and drawn out as I'm bad at that. The main focus will be each time Fluttershy dies and how.)
Discord's life with Fluttershy was a peaceful one; afternoon tea, lazy days on the couch, helping her in the garden. Nothing could be more perfect. Then something happens...Discord's seemingly "helpful" actions to encourage Princess Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the Mane 6 backfire and terror is brought upon Equestria. He could care less about Equestria as long as his Fluttershy is safe. Of course, that isn't the case. Fluttershy was the only one of the Mane Six to be killed in battle, shattering the heart of Discord. Now, he'll do anything to get Fluttershy back, including bending the laws of space and time.
