Life had finally found its rhythm. For so long, we had fought tirelessly to protect our world, and for the first time, peace seemed to be more than just a fleeting dream. It felt like a promise. We were just high school students again, savoring the simple joys of everyday life. We laughed, we studied, and we dreamed of futures unburdened by the weight of destiny. We truly believed we had obtained peace... or so we thought.
But peace, it seems, is a delicate thing, easily shattered by the darkness lurking just beyond the horizon. A new evil emerged, a dark force unlike anything we had faced before. It brought chaos and destruction to the heart of our city, attacking innocent civilians without warning. We rushed to defend them, ready to face whatever threat had been unleashed. However, one by one, our energy drained away. Everyone's transformation pens destroyed, and my broach, shattered.
We were left utterly powerless.
We were Senshi... no more. -

I was listening to Creed’s ‘A Thousand Faces’ and reading 'Fireflies' and somehow this fic idea wound its way into my head. I asked her about doing a companion piece for Minako and Setsuna based on Fireflies’ ending of Minako’s comment about White Day and got the go-ahead so yeah, I blame RadiantBeam.
