After the events of the Episode 100 of Criminal Minds, the BAU get given a rather ghastly case that happens to involve two certain brothers.
Hotch is back as the Unit Chief for his team, multitasking between looking out for his team and being a full time dad. He can’t turn to Jess as she has her own family to look out for now.
Thankfully though, his new (seemingly normal) neighbour has plenty of experience in babysitting. He offers to watch over Jack whenever Hotch needs to travel overseas for work.
Little did he know, that Adam Milligan was much more than some normal guy.

Better summary: Closing Heaven and Hell had more repercussions than anyone could have expected. Michael and Lucifer are free, but that's not the biggest problem. History holds secrets and mistakes, some more dangerous than others, and someone did something they weren't supposed to. Big surprise, right? -

Summary
Set during Season 15 episode 18. This is going to be a Fix-It fix with Time Travel. After the Empty takes Cas away Dean is torn apart and breaks down at not being able to tell Cas that he loved him too. When Naomi appears out of nowhere she gives Dean the chance to not only save Cas, but to save all of the Earths that Chuck destroyed. Being sent back to his body fifteen years prior, but with all of his memories was a lot for Dean. But knowing that eventually, he will see Cas again is what keeps him going. He never expected to open the door to see Cas standing on the other side of it. Naomi had promised him she would send a warrior to help him, but he never expected to see Cas. Not just Cas, but his Cas.
They finally have a chance to be together and Dean isn't going to let anyone stand in their way. This time around they were going to stop Chuck and save a lot of lives in the process. Dean knows with Cas by his side there is nothing they can't do.

It’s so intense, so blindingly hot and sweltering and thick against every inch of his body he can’t even think as he tries to crawl towards his door, to his mother who he knew was just down the hall, who could help him and save him for whatever torment had latched to his body.
Instead, right as his hand reaches forward, the tip of his bone sticking out from the mess of melted flesh, his room vanishes in an instant, leaving way to nothing but pure blackness that not even his burning body seems to light. There’s a piercing cry, high and angry and pained, coated in disbelief and shock, and at the sound of it, the pain and fire dissipates so quickly Adam couldn’t even question why or what happened when memories flood through his frazzled mind, and there is light, blood, pain, and a singular name.
Michael.
And as Adam looks around the empty landscape, his own throat healed and quiet, he puts it together.
Michael was screaming.
And with that tortured wail echoing in the background, bouncing off of nothing as his skin stitches back together, burns lifting from his skin without a trace, Adam remembers.
