And that's all it takes for Nick to break. He can't think anymore, he can't handle it, he can't do anything anymore. Nick chews on the pad of his thumb and whines. He removes his glasses that have suddenly felt oddly tight on his face, and throws them across his room, only to hit the headboard of his bed and land on the mattress. Nick grabs his shark plushie by the tail, uses it to slam his laptop closed, and holds it close to him, hugging it tightly against his chest. He curls up into a ball on the floor, sucking on his thumb and holding the shark with a killer grip.

All he could really say to Max's teasing was 'oh' every few seconds out of shock and false discomfort. Nick felt a smile tugging at the end of his mouth, and just let it take over. He sighed internally. Not only was Max funny, but he was one of the most handsome men Nick had ever laid his eyes upon. That perfect jawline, his side profile, those hypnotizing eyes and that gorgeous smile, that luscious hair, those strong hands and unique features that drove him mad. Max might've been Nick's dream man. How could Nick ever be friends with him? He was ethereal.

He looked up, chuckling at his words, "We're only on day five. If this goes on as long as most apocalypse movies, all of us would die from boredom and or smelling gross."
