Summary
Everyone says that the amulet doesn't make mistakes so Jim was always meant to be the TrollHunter, it was his destiny. So why did it choose Tobias Domzalski at then end of the movie? The answer could be that it knows what Jim did and is simply working as part of his plan to 'make right'. With Toby as TrollHunter, Jim can direct him on what to do and who to face while he works to avoid the disasters he escaped from and rebuild what he lost with the help of his loved ones.
I didn't like Rise of The Titan's so here is how Jim is going to fix everything after travelling back in time. -

Given a second chance at saving the world, Jim has to make a choice: he could sit back and watch the future play put like its supposed to, ignoring all the death and destruction wrought by Gunmar and Morgana-
Or he could intercept the amulet from his past self so he could live a normal life with normal human problems and stop all the bad things from happening in the future.

What if everyone you know perishes...because you failed?Jim Lake Jr, the last Trollhunter, lives through the war, but without sacrifices to be made. He loses the amulet, his family, allies and friends to the fire, all because he wasn't able to wield Excalibur.
Now, after sometime has passed, the Arcadia he once knew, now is a small neon lit city, where rules no longer applied.
Dead to the public eye, he bumps into a flash from the past, getting caught into a situation he doesn't want to be a part of.
A way to his redemption.
The only way to close the story he began.

Jim doesn't get to rest, needs therapy and a hug, but instead gets into his last adventure. Set on a Cyberpunk Arcadia. -

Summary
In the Trollhunters series, we only know of three witches; Morgana, Merlin, and Douxie. But what if there was a fourth?
“The Soul’s Song” explores the idea of a fourth witch who studies magic under Merlin but slowly loses her grip on reality and becomes consumed by her obsession with death and the soul.
