Luke and Din have been together for nearly 5 years now, and Luke likes to think he's got it under control.
He has a wonderful boyfriend, he's a parent (legally!), he's doing what he loves, and he finally learned how to cook rice. All things considered, he's doing pretty well.
And then Grogu's teacher insults his son at a parent-teacher conference, and he can't let that stand.
Next thing he knows, Luke is going back to school.

Fett was suddenly standing very close to where Luke sat, his hand still holding Luke’s in a solid but not rough grip. “It means I’ve got things in mind,” Fett answered, not at all clearing things up for Luke. He lingered for another long moment, making Luke’s brain feel oddly foggy from his proximity, before he finally released Luke’s hand and stepped back. “See you around, Skywalker.”

Basically the idea here is in a modern setting, where Luke wasn't indirectly responsible for Boba's accident and scars, Boba would take one look at him and call dibs. That's it, that's the fic. -

“Maybe not,” Din takes a step towards Luke, then another, and another; he slides his hands against the skin of Luke’s cheeks, taking the mans face in his hands and tilting it downwards. “, but I am.”In continuing their romance, Professor Lars and Professor Djarin find themselves in the woods behind the school, where they enjoy one another's company, and Luke shares something special with his lover, and Din thanks him for it with a gift unlike anything Luke has received before.

Din groaned, almost wishing he didn't have a plate of food in front of him so he could drop his head onto the table.
"He has a crush on Grogu's new teacher," Fennec informed him easily.
"Can we just eat?" Din tried, reaching for the delicious-looking casserole.
“No, I wanna hear this first,” Paz raised an eyebrow at his brother.
"No casserole until you explain," Boba ordered, slapping his hand away.
Din hated his friends.
Din Djarin was not looking forwards to his ad'ika going to school. He worried, for Grogu and for himself. But when he met the teacher, Luke Skywalker, he thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
Luke was ecstatic about the first day of school, and it was made all the better when he met a truly brilliant student, Grogu, and his father.
Grogu just wants these two di'kute to kiss already. His bavodu'e agree.
