    Enji/Rei, fix it fic, time travel
    Hear me out, it's actually super good. Develops organically. So much backstory for all of the characters, including side characters. Watching Enji and Rei's relationship develop has been so sweet. They're actually in love. Enji cares for his kids; he's there for them. He's not obsessed with #1 anymore. Broader scope of heroism and activism. Saving Geten, saving Tenko, saving Hawks, saving Touya. Rei is involved and active and is Awesome! She handles charity stuff, political things, backs him up and is his life partner
    It's honestly so good, and I can't cover it all here. I'm so excited for the next update 💖

    The stranger has Touya’s undivided attention. He doesn’t miss a single movement. He sees when the guy scratches at his temple, when he asks someone for white out, when he plays with the rings adorning his fingers.

    He definitely sees when the guy turns around and scans the room, eyes landing on Touya. Touya takes notice of a big scar, going down his cheek and disappearing into his shirt.

    Touya doesn’t flinch, doesn’t pretend he’s not watching him. The stranger doesn’t either until the professor starts on the next slide. The blond smiles at him before turning.

    Touya feels like he’s on fucking fire.

    Katsuki was only a child when he first came face-to-face with a dragon. She was a mother, who in a moment of desperation, used her final breaths to gift him her greatest treasure, an egg, which the little boy then incubated until it hatched his lifelong companion.

    Now a grown man, Katsuki remained on the outskirts of the kingdom, in a small village where he had taken over his parents' forge. So far, he had managed to keep his head down just enough not to be recruited into arming King Enji's misguided war effort. But it wasn't long before far too many eyes began to notice the blacksmith that forged his masterwork weaponry within dragonfire.

    Shouto had very few memories of his childhood before he had run away from his home of grandeur and wealth in the arms of his eldest brother. He and Touya, now brandishing the name Dabi, had drifted from town to town Shouto's entire life, never staying long and always starting fresh. But these days, Shouto felt like he had no idea what they were even running from anymore.

    Now that they had begun to settle in a small town near the kingdom's borders, Shouto couldn't help but be curious about the local man that seemed to have befriended a dragon.

    Bakugou is a blacksmith, and Shouto is a traveler turned courier for the small town.
    It's so beautiful and perfect 💖 their banter and the pacing are wonderful, and I love the tone and word usage throughout. Honestly an incredible story, and all the background couples are perfect, too 💖

    “Your majesty.” The man in horrifically opulent robes bows low, the ridiculous sleeves pooling on the floor in a puddle of silk. “We have brought you a spoil of war, captured during the battle of Kamino, a rare and exotic creature for your household.” Touya sits up a little in interest, this was rather unusual as far as presents for his father went. The doors open with a heaving groan, and Touya leans forward in open interest. He was expecting a large cage to be wheeled in, containing some fantastical creature like a small wyvern or a kirin. Instead the servants yank on heavy chains, pulling in a young man with massive crimson wings.

    “A harpy, your majesty, tamed and trained for battle by the enemy. He was captured in combat, and has spent the last six months undergoing training to become a suitable pet for the royal household. I give him to you, your majesty, to serve whichever role his highness pleases.”

    Hawks is captured as a war prize, and given to Prince Touya as a pet.

    DabiHawks, high fantasy. Every word builds the masterpiece of this story. I want this on my bookshelf. Author, please; I will buy this if you ever print it.
    Beautiful and perfect without being long winded. Perfect pacing. Focuses on Touya (prince) and Keigo (war slave). You can trust the tags 🥰 perfect transition and explanation of Touya into Dabi and WHY. Slow burn without being a tease. The emotions are great and fantastic.
    Only graphic description happens to Enji, and he deserves it.

    Part 2 focuses on Midoriya and friends and follows a brief teenage (mis?)adventure
