Summary
Spring is a time of growth.
Of planted seeds given rain and sun and time to sprout.
Two years is an age, when you are thirteen. Two years is but a blink, when you are older than twenty.
From toddler to sannin, everyone has growing to do, one last season left before the thunder of summer storms herald the final battle.
(This won't make much sense unless you've read the previous stories, but basically an Isekai'd Uchiha makes it past the Uchiha massacre.
The two year time skip of canon was one of unseen tragedies. Mari's will be one of blessings gifted and lessons learned, of children stepping towards the path of adulthood and elders on the garden bed of healing, of a den well tended, and well loved.

He ran for what felt like an age, close enough to see the rooftop of the safe house, before he smacked into a wall of muscle, head cracking against the pavement as he fell.
It took a moment to gather himself, and he froze as he realized what he had run into.
Who he had run into.
Electric white eyes stared back at him, and for a moment neither of them moved. The imaginary nose around his neck tightened, scar aching with phantom pains.
“Pretender,” the Red Hood greeted, malice thick as an oil spill. “What brings you to my neck of the woods, and so, ruffled.”
Tim stared, brain moving too fast. It was always moving too fast.
He heard the sounds of running footsteps, the the disgruntlement of people being pushed out of the way. The Red Hood was armed, guns holstered at his thighs, the black color glinting in the light like a promise.
His parents weren’t going to pay the ransom.
His parents weren’t even going to answer the call.
In the end it was simple mathematics.

It's graphic but we're not spending several paragraphs on detailed gory description. He comes across a half-starved, beaten omega slave in a squalid mountain village, and pity for the poor wretch compels him to intervene. But if he can’t overcome the language barrier between them, earning the omega's trust may be beyond even his acumen.
AN: I think it’s important to mention that Castiel’s big, tan, muscular thighs are totally exposed throughout this whole fic because he’s wearing a short tunic and cuirass a la Alexander the Great. This is very important information.

Summary
Successfully killing Lilith and keeping Dean out of Hell has the brothers ready for a good, old-fashioned, hunter-on-demon brawl. It's time to get back to the basics, back to the way things used to be, when monsters got ganked and that was the end of things. That said, they are not ready for a new kind of creature to appear in the middle of their fight, covered in blood and begging for mercy they aren't supposed to give.
Meanwhile, Castiel is panicking. He's been tortured senseless for four decades straight, and now he's been thrown down in front of two hunters. If he thought his brothers were bad... well, all angels knew how cruel hunters were... and Castiel has no idea how to convince them he doesn't need to be, in the shorter one's words, ganked.
