Nomura, Nari, Strickler, Toby... All gone. All dead if Jim doesn't do something.
That something? Travel back in time all the way to the beginning and do better. Get Strickler and his mom together, save his long dead friends and make Toby the Trollhunter.Only nothing is as straight forward as that.
Because the amulet is now split between him and Toby, the original and the new Trollhunter, which is really not what he had in mind. And it seems as if he might be able to unlock some of his friends memories with daylight...This is going to be a fix it with a focus on Jim, keeping characters IN character and giving changelings their rights. Because they were done dirty in the movie.

Summary
A cursed Warlord: Stricklander the Savage the Spellcaster, ruler of the Gumm-Gumm's and blight of humanity. Until the battle of Killahead, that is, where the Wizard Merlin curses him and the only way to break the curse is to do an act of selflessness to someone pure of heart.
A abandoned apprentice: Douxie would follow Merlin to the ends of the earth. But after being left responsible for a cursed troll Warlord indefinitely his faith in his master is shaken.
A scorned Prince: Bular thought his father was invincible once. But after Gunmar finally claws his way out of the Darklands, a couple hundred years earlier than expected, Bular realises he may not want the world to end. And that maybe it's fine the way it is...
And then a human is chosen as the Trollhunter and Stricklander, Douxie and Bular find a joint purpose. Because maybe, just maybe he might be the key to everything...
Alternate universe where Strickler is a full troll and leader of the Gumm-Gumm's and cursed by Merlin, Gunmar was his first general, and escapes the Darklands thanks to Unkar the Unfortunate,Bular has many doubts, and Jim is caught between a huge mess as always.

Summary
A series of (mostly) disconnected post RoTT fix-it fics exploring where the movie left off. To different extents.
Challenging Destiny is the main timeline, exploring myths old and new, changelings and their rights, memory restoration and plenty of time-travel, angst and fluffy found family.
It Gets Easier, namely a AU of an AU , diverges from Challenging Destiny with regards to Angor Rot joining Barbara and Strickler in a relationship.
Awaken, an AU of Challenging Destiny, wherein Strickler wakes up early after Jim resets time and is chosen to bear the mantle of Trollhunter. Plenty of angst, whump and knife family feels for avocado man.

Summary
The human realm is very different, but not as dangerous as the boiling isles. It definitely is strange though.
Hunter is learning about what life has to offer, and it is lovely - friends, family, the joy of being free as yourself. He wants to protect everyone.

Summary
Claire Nuñez was fourteen when the witch Morgana came for her magic, rebutted with a swift refusal a vile curse was placed on the castle. On her 18th birthday, as the rose wilted, she was doomed to perish lest she relinquish her magic to the witch.
And Claire decides death is better than giving anything to Morgana.
Three years later Jim Lake stumbles upon the castle in search of his mom and her fiancé, who have disappeared in a snow storm, met with magical objects cursed into a such a state and the owner of the castle, who simply wants he and his parents gone. Jim finds himself determined to help, no matter the cost.

Jim has tried and failed to fix things so many times he has lost count. No matter what he tries, it always goes the same: Killahead is rebuilt, Angor Rot is freed, Gunmar escapes, the Eternal Night begins and ends, the Arcane Order is defeated at too high a cost.
And, no matter what, too many die.
"Destiny is a gift."
A gift Jim has shirked too long, too many times, never learning his lesson.
And so the Fates weave a new tapestry.

Excalibur clatters to the ground. Douxie doesn’t notice, completely enraptured by the sight before him. A Time Stone -small, but unmistakable.
“Holy shit.” he breathes. “Holy shit. Mordrax’s Miracles, this is -this is!” he laughs, delighted about something for the first time in months.
A completely intact Time Stone, right here, with the only person on the continent who knew how to use it (and probably the only person still alive who could).
He takes it into his hands reverently, a dying man who has been given an answer to his prayers, a way to change his inescapable ending. A way to change everyone's endings.
Or: In a world where everything goes wrong, Douxie is the one to go back in time instead.
