Lucas looked down at his hands, the first two fingers of his right hand still captured under Jens’. He could see the soft smile Jens was sporting out of the corner of his eye, the upturned lips of his lover making his own closed-mouth smile - the one he didn’t realize he was wearing - grow.
He breathed in deep once more.
“I think I’m gay,” he breathed out, then paused. “Well- no. I am gay. I don’t think I’m gay, I am gay.” He looked at Jens, whose face could only be described as amused. “Definitely gay.”

He can almost make out the barely there ripples teasing at his sides while he desperately thrashes his limbs for some sort of change, some kind of motion around him. Instead, he's a weightless leaf that fell into this unmoving deep unknown; can't sink but can't move at the same time. He doesn't know what kind of disturbance he needs to get out of this stupid state of inertia he's stuck in.
