"Oh my god, Reggie!" Alex said. He dropped his textbook on the floor and ran towards the boy hugging him. He looked the boy up and down and frowned when he noticed the bruise on his face. The bruise that most likely came from Reggie's previous caregiver Caleb.
Alex, Luke, and Reggie all met in a group home run by Caleb Covington. Both Alex and Luke were able to get out fairly quickly; Luke went back to his parents while Alex was fostered by the Molina's. Reggie, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky.

Reggie Peters spent a majority of his childhood growing up in foster care. He some how managed to keep his living situation from two of his best friends and his best friend's boy friend. He even received a full scholarship to a private arts school in LA. Life couldn't be better.
The Molina's became registered as a foster family for two reasons, one: in case their daughter's best friend had to stay with them while their parents went overseas to film another movie and two: in case the quiet blonde boy from church was kicked out by his parents and he had no where to go. But they weren't going to say no incase they came across another teenager who needed a home.
When Reggie's current foster family, puts Reggie in Respite care during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, the Molina's reluctantly take him in, trying their best not to get to attached,

Nick's not entirely sure what to expect when Carrie tells him that he'll be getting picked up from Bobby and his bandmates, but it certainly isn't four people looking like they're spy agents out of a movie. Nick found the first note stuck to the metal door of his locker. It was a lime green sticky note, the shade Nick knew his boyfriend’s favorite color to be. It stood out against the blue of his locker, and it was bright enough that Nick had been able to spot it from the other end of the hallway. He approached his locker with confusion at the bright green, glancing around to see if anyone else's locker had also been branded with some type of note. When it became evident that it was just his own, Nick frowned a little, finally reaching his locker. His backpack hung off his arm as he reached out, pulling off the folded in half note stuck to the metal.
Nick unfolded the little piece of paper, finding himself smiling almost immediately at the black pen scrawled across the lime green.

Nick and Tyler and officially dating, and both of them are convinced they’ve never been happier. Over the first month of their relationship, Nick keeps finding lime green sticky notes- on and in his locker, in his textbooks, even in his house. Each one is signed by his boyfriend, and Nick isn’t sure he’s ever going to stop smiling.
