"Oh my god, Reggie!" Alex said. He dropped his textbook on the floor and ran towards the boy hugging him. He looked the boy up and down and frowned when he noticed the bruise on his face. The bruise that most likely came from Reggie's previous caregiver Caleb.
Alex, Luke, and Reggie all met in a group home run by Caleb Covington. Both Alex and Luke were able to get out fairly quickly; Luke went back to his parents while Alex was fostered by the Molina's. Reggie, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky.

What is intersex?
Intersex is a group of conditions in which there is a discrepancy between the external genitals and the internal genitals (the testes and ovaries). The older term for this condition is hermaphroditism. Intersex is a general term used for a variety of situations in which a person is born with reproductive or sexual anatomy that doesn't fit the boxes of "female" or "male." Sometimes doctors do surgeries on intersex babies and children to make their bodies fit binary ideas of "male" or "female".
This was not the case for one seventeen year old boy named William "Willie" Covington, as he unexpectedly finds himself pregnant with twins at such a young age. With the support of their friends and family, he and his boyfriend Alex learn the difficulties of becoming teenage parents, as well as dealing with their own drama.
