She hides behind her father until he is forced to surrender by the avengers and shes found by them. The little royal is wary of the group since they captured her father but after she falls from the aloft Quint jet when trying to follow her uncle Thor, who came to get her dad, and is saved by the man of iron she becomes attached. Even more so after her father is imprisoned and later assumed dead. The billionaire takes her in as his own daughter, an Asgaurdian royal with illusion magic and the ability to heal, and she clings to him. When another daughter named Morgan is born, Aurora is about 11 and she adores her new little sister. Then her biological father returns when she is 14. He has come wanting to take her back even if she doesn't want to.

Tony ducked his head inside Peter’s bedroom, the door left cracked open. The boy himself was slumped over his mess of a desk, in a deep, peaceful sleep. He used his arms as pillows; although it could hardly be comfortable, considering Peter had almost no muscle or fat anywhere on his body to cushion himself. Tony smiled a bit at the scene laid out in front of him. God, he was so lucky to have such a good kid..
Almost as though he had sensed his fathers’ presence, Peter stirred. His head flopped to the side, his hand stuttering in the air as he reached for Tony.

Going to therapy has been more beneficial for Peter than he initially anticipated. At first, his therapist mostly focused on helping him communicate in a healthy way with his parents so he could better express his emotions. Ever since his aunt died, Peter had gotten used to holding everything in. And when it all got to be much, he would let it out by using an unhealthy coping mechanism—like cutting. But now, he doesn't really feel the urge to cut as often because he talks about how he feels.
Now that he's learned how to do that, he's been working on processing his trauma. If he's being honest, despite the fact that therapy has overall been beneficial for him, processing his trauma has been a lot harder than he expected. Processing trauma has felt like he's been slowly opening an old wound that never healed properly. It's good for you in the long run, but it hurts in the moment.
OR
Peter's begins his journey towards recovery until someone gets in the way.

I can't remember the last time I hugged them. It hasn't even been that long since I've seen them. It's only been eight weeks. Two months. I should be able to remember, yet no matter how hard I try, my memory of the last time I hugged Steve and Tony is no where to be found within the depths of the abyss that is my mind.
Steve and Tony Stark-Rogers were my favorite people. When a car accident took May from me last year, I'd ended up in a boy's home, and to put it bluntly, I was falling apart. Then came the Stark-Rogers husbands. Tony offered me an internship on the basis that I was Spider-Man and had “a lot of academic potential,” as he said. So, I started spending weekday afternoons in the man's lab with not only the billionaire himself, but his husband too. They saw me falling apart and they gathered up my broken pieces and used their love to glue me back together again. But then I ran away.

Harley needed to take some time away from his house back in Rose Hill, so obviously, the next logical course of action was for him to take the first flight out of Nashville.

Cries are ripped from my throat and tears stream down my face, pooling at my jawline, as I sit on the grimy floor of the boy's bathroom. I clap my disgustingly feminine hands over my mouth in an attempt to muffle my cries.
I can't do this anymore. I can't. Dysphoria is the worst thing ever and I don't know how to deal with it. I bind. I put a packer in my boxers. I don't cross my legs when I sit because it looks too girly, and I wear baggy clothes to hide my rounded hips. But it still doesn't get rid of the dysphoria. I physically want to crawl out of my skin and into the one of a cisgender boy.
