Summary
Harley stepped off of the jet bridge and into the most crowded room he had ever seen. He’d just spent the last four hours of his life tensed in a chair that was far too small for his lanky form, sipping lukewarm Sprite from a plastic cup and playing round after round of GamePigeon 8-Ball with an edgy Peter Parker. Never again did he want to experience the horror that was having to take a piss during airplane turbulence. He should have obeyed the seatbelt warning above his seat.
Harley needed to take some time away from his house back in Rose Hill, so obviously, the next logical course of action was for him to take the first flight out of Nashville.
He didn't know what he was doing either.

Summary
The DODC makes good on their threat to charge May with child endangerment, sending Peter into foster care. But in a universe where Tony Stark is still alive, his actions have repercussions as well, and May Parker isn’t the only one fighting to get custody of her child back.
Meanwhile, Peter’s left completely alone and unable to contact any of his loved ones, trying to navigate a system he thought he’d left behind after his aunt and uncle picked him up a few weeks after his parents’ deaths. Summary
Seven Years Ago when Tony Stark went missing in Afghanistan, his almost eight year old son, Peter James Edwin Stark, was placed in foster care. When Tony returned, it was to the news that his son had been killed when a fire had broken out in the foster home and only the neglectful caretakers survived the blaze.
Now, one year after Ultron and Sokovia, Tony Stark and Pepper Potts have decided to act as foster parents in an attempt to keep what happened to Peter from happening to anyone else. Of course, the spider-themed vigilante in town may make this venture that much harder. Can’t Tony just get a break?
Peter Parker has no memory of his life before he was 7. He’s spent the last seven years in foster care wishing nothing more than to find a forever family. He thought the Parkers were going to be that family, but an unfortunate accident two years ago left Peter and their three children once again at the mercy of the system.
When Peter fights back against his foster father, Skip Westcott, he and his foster siblings end up at Avengers Tower, Peter has to figure out how to hide his nightly activities and Tony needs to figure out just why this teenager and his dead son have so much in common.

Peter startles awake when someone shakes him.
“Sorry, honey,” May says. Peter blinks a couple times and she comes into focus, her hair pulled back from her face. She’s trying not to look a certain way, but he can see it in her eyes anyway. She clears her throat, keeps talking. “But it’s…” She glances away, wets her lips. “You gotta get ready.”
He remembers what day it is, and his heart beats like a drum at someone’s execution. But he tries to put on a mask, make it all seem normal. It’s everything but, despite the fact that he’s been dealing with reaping day since he was born, between himself, Ben and May. That fear that one of them could be taken away. Sent to surefire slaughter. But now Ben is gone, taken despite never having his name drawn from a bowl, and May’s finally safe. Now Peter’s name is in there alone. The last Parker sitting on the chopping block. He doesn’t know how to be. He doesn’t know what normal is, when the Hunger Games are looming on the horizon.
