Summary
Being named after the stars was a common thing, people see their beauty and their magnificence, and they want it for their own. Stars hold a sense of wonder, of power, of time and space and everything in-between. They have an innocence to them, a feeling of safety, of a higher being looking down on the world, glistening from the galaxies.
Stella was named after these stars, but not for any of the above reasons. Her name was chosen because stars were made up of fire, they burned brightly- just as she did. She had spent her whole life being Nick Fury's super-powered child assassin, it was all she knew and the main lesson he had taught her was to kill or be killed. She was his brightest star, his favorite killing machine- but everybody knows stars shine their brightest when they are about to burn out.
When SHIELD falls, and she is suddenly at risk of being exposed, Fury sends her to his other heroes, the Avengers, and Stella learns there's a whole lot more to life than Nick Fury had ever taught her.
Or, Tony Stark has a problem not adopting troubled and parentless children, especially ones that shine brightly once he enters a room.

Before Thanos shook up the world around Tony Stark and ripped half the population away from Earth, Tony received the shock of his life when in his darkest hour when violence awakened his soulmate bond and revealed that the man Tony was certain he was meant to despise was the one Tony was meant to share forever with. Refusing to accept this twist of fate after the universe fell apart, Tony retreated to solitude while Bucky kept his final promise to his best friend stepping up to lead the team as Captain America in Steve's absence. With Tony away from the team, Bucky does his best to find a way to turn things around for those left behind mourning the loss of those they loved. Determined not to let his best friend down, Bucky discovers a crack in the universe that could bring back those they'd lost. The multiverse continues to collapse in on itself. Doctor Strange discovers the source of the problem as Peter Parker. The only viable solution is to remove Peter from his original universe so that no more entities will be drawn to his presence there.
Peter is sent to a world that lost its Peter Parker, and finds himself lost in a sea of people he'd grieved who had all grieved him in kind.
